Mission

Craftsmanship today forms a counterbalance to rapid technological and social changes. It offers new ways of thinking about resources, resilience, places and communities.

While industrialisation diminished the role of crafts for decades, today we are witnessing their re-birth. In the age of mass production and digital pollution, craftsmanship provides a solid tangible value.

I created Fragile Futures to explore heritage, craft, place and identity in times of transformation, in a mission to create a showcase and a preservation platform for the fragile futures of crafts.
